What it is

KNB — Kemitraan Negara Berkembang, the Developing Countries Partnership scholarship — is the Government of Indonesia's scholarship for students from developing countries, run by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology as part of Indonesia's South–South cooperation. It funds a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree at one of 47 Indonesian universities — among them Universitas Indonesia, Gadjah Mada, Bandung Institute of Technology, IPB, Airlangga, Diponegoro, Hasanuddin and Brawijaya — in regular (Indonesian-taught) classes.
